Microsoft is set to unveil autonomous AI agents in November, designed to serve as «software for an AI-driven world.» These agents will diverge from traditional chatbots by requiring minimal human input.
The tech giant is positioning these agents as tools capable of automating routine tasks such as addressing customer inquiries, identifying potential buyers, and managing inventory.
Microsoft is leveraging both its proprietary AI models and those developed by OpenAI to power these agents. Users will have the ability to create their own agents within the Copilot Studio environment.
When access to these agents commences, there will be 10 ready-to-use agents available, each tailored to address a variety of business challenges.
