Microsoft is set to unveil autonomous AI agents in November, designed as «software for an AI-driven world.» These agents will diverge from traditional chatbots by operating with minimal human intervention.

The tech giant is positioning these agents as tools capable of automating routine tasks such as responding to customer inquiries, identifying potential buyers, and managing inventory.

Microsoft is leveraging both its proprietary AI models and those developed by OpenAI to power these agents. Users will have the ability to create their own agents within Copilot Studio.

When access commences, there will be 10 pre-built agents available, each tailored to address various business challenges.
