Meta is introducing new paid subscriptions for its platforms, reports TechCrunch.
Instagram Plus and Facebook Plus will cost $4/month each, while WhatsApp Plus will be $3/month.
Key features include:
— Instagram/Facebook: Advanced story analytics, extended story visibility, unlimited follower lists, anonymous story viewing, and feed post hiding.
— WhatsApp: More pinned chats, custom themes/ringtones, and premium stickers.
These do not replace the $15/month Meta Verified service.
Additionally, Meta is testing two AI plans:
— Meta One: $8/month.
— Meta One Premium: $20/month, featuring increased computing power for complex queries.
The standard version of Meta AI remains free. In the EU and UK, Meta continues to offer ad-free subscriptions to comply with local regulations. 📱
